A photographer's dream! This tour is a delightful sample of Coromandel Peninsula's natural heritage and scenic beauty. Enjoy the flora & fauna of the semi-tropical rainforest with giant ferns, kauri trees and crystal clear streams. Visit the old historic gold caves sparkling with glowworms and hear the fascinating history of this magic area. We'll end the afternoon with a visit to Hot Water Beach (tide permitting). Lunch will be a delightful picnic or a visit to our favorite cafe.
Beaches, Caves, Coves & Cappucinos:

Paddle through amazing sea caves, explore offshore islands, snorkel the marine reserve & enjoy a cappuccino at our exclusive Cathedral Cove Beachfront Café’. Driving Creek Railway and Pottery:
Driving Creek Railway (3km out of Coromandel Town) is a 3km narrow gauge railway line which takes in tunnels, spirals, reversing points and viaducts.  This innovatively designed, hand-built train provides comfortable open sided rides for all ages through re-planted native kauri.  Originally built to bring clay and pine wood fuel down to the potteries, the line has taken 25 years and much hard labour to build.  Hear the fascinating story of one mans dream.  The panoramic views from the top are simply stunning!  Also visit the sculpture garden, book and craft shop.  Be sure to pre-book, this is a very popular attraction.
