most beautiful places in the world. The Lodge sits tight between the
mountains and the ocean, on a deer stud and olive farm. Designed as a
contemporary country inn, with six guest rooms, a separate apartment
and its own cafe, Hapuku Lodge positions guests to take full advantage
of the Kaikoura experience. Custom designed handcrafted furniture,
including, according to our guests, "the most comfortable beds in the
South Island". We welcome guests to sample our chef, Luke's seasonal
dinner offerings in the Lodge dining room. Relax and enjoy stunning
